Writing Wrongs

April 22, 2004

On Thursdays, Andrew has a spelling test and we practice words in the car on the way to daycare. One of today's words is fuse and Andrew was being silly, saying things like, "F is for Fear Factor . . ." to the point that I had no idea where in the word he was. So I asked.

He said, "Halfway. F-U, Mommy."

I laughed so hard I nearly drove off the road.

What I'm reading: Entries for the Golden Pen Contest. Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging

Writing Progress: 16,000 words on Accidental Cheerleader. Hooray! About halfway there. And stumbled upon yet another idea for a book. So many ideas, so little time. Sigh.
