Writing Wrongs

Breakfast for dinner is one of those things I do when Bob is out of town. Mainly because he just doesnt get it. Breakfast for dinner is the best. The kids love scrambled eggs and we had hot biscuits with butter. What more could you want?

Of course, when I was in high school, I had a teacher who totally flipped breakfast for dinner and he and his wife would dine of things like chicken enchiladas at six thirty in the morning. Breakfast is wonderful for dinner, but dinner for breakfast? Thats breaking some sort of law of nature.

Today is Andrews birthday, although we did the family celebration on Sunday. Still, when youre nine, you need something there when you wake up in the morning, so I picked a few things up yesterday and surprised Andrew today.

It took a few minutes to sink in, but when it did, he was very surprised and happy. Plus, the gold foil master set of Yu-Gi-Oh cards contained Exodia, the Forbidden One. I realize this means nothing to any of you, but trust me, it was a big deal.

Tonight is dinner anywhere he wants it. So far, that looks like the Burger King with the playground. Andrew thinks this time, he can lure Kyra inside the climber. Somehow, I dont see this happening. He just doesnt understand how she can resist something thats so much fun. And stinky. Well have to break out the bubble bath after this one.

~ Looking forward to stinky kids feet and lots of grease. No birthday complete without either.
