Writing Wrongs

So, is everyone else still suffering from daylight saving time, or is it just me? Itís been a long week. A really long week. Iím looking forward to what Kyra calls ďa long day at homeĒ after such a long week. It hasnít been bad, just long.

In fact, you know itís been a long week, when:

Youíre a little too excited about afternoon popcorn duty at work. Oh, the responsibility of being a fulltime employee.

Your three-year-old wants to attach her Little Tike chair to her Little Tike car, with scotch tape (so baby can come along), and it looks like a reasonable idea to you.

Spam makes an appearance on your dinner table. And you like it.

You misread the headline as: Bush picks Pontius Pilate as FEMA chief. (What? You think that couldnít happen?)

You get a kick walking through the skyway to your new contract parking spot because itís raining and you stay dry.

The green tea latte at Starbucks doesnít seem as misguided a notion as it did last week.

You order a green tea latte at Starbucks.

You live to regret it.

You decide to go with the coffee instead.

The extra caffeine still doesnít help. As noted: when on afternoon popcorn duty, remember to turn on the kettle motor. Otherwise, youíll need to find a place to hide the evidence.
