From Making Light

And Miss Snark

Apparently literary agent scam artist Barbara Bauer coerced the web host of Absolute Write to take down the site. I just checked. Its down and still down.

So, Im going to do my part and post this list with links to the top twenty worst literary agents:

Thing is, Ive seen people get taken in by this sort of scam. Ive seen people crushed when they realize Poetry.com isnt a real publishing credit. Even with Google at their fingertips, a lot of people still dont know about scam agencies and vanity publishers that try to make you think they arent. Early in my writing career, I joined Sisters in Crime, which is where I was lucky enough to learn about this sort of thing second hand.

But not everybody picks up on this information. Admittedly, my blog is just a wee thing, but if one person learns something, then its worth it.
