Writing Wrongs

August 20, 2006

The weekend’s accomplishments (because sometimes you take success where you can get it)

Wrote 3,565 words on Geek Girl’s Guide (all new scenes).

Adjusted synopsis for minor change made during 3,565 words.

Read and judged contest entry (one down, nine to go).

Ran each day, three miles (well, ran for two, walked one for warm up/cool down)

Returned library books.

Found more George and Martha books (for both Andrew and Kyra--they love these).

Found a previously undiscovered princess coloring book in an old stash of rainy day activities.

Watched the religious fervor said princess coloring book inspired in daughter.

Discovered Celestial Seasonings Marrakesh Express Vanilla Spice High Energy tea. Decided this is what I’ve been looking for all my life.

Read the healthy heart insert. Touched by Celestial Seasonings apparent concern for my wellbeing.

Discovered Sheer Bliss dark chocolate and pomegranate ice cream bars. They’re full of antioxidants and dark chocolate is good for you. Sheer Bliss is also concerned for my wellbeing. Am touched by unprecedented compassion from corporate America.

Got Andrew’s football practice uniform in the laundry (he wanted to keep the grass stains because they make him look tough).

Got the Disney princess camisole that Kyra’s been wearing for three days straight into the wash. Consider this major victory.

Updated blog with lame listing of weekend’s “accomplishments.”
