Writing Week in Review: Week 3 (three down, five (?) to go)

Words: 8,752 ~ I�m looking at my scenes cards, wondering if I have enough �stuff� for 60,000 words total. I think so. Then I wonder if I�ll be writing for another five weeks or so. Not sure. I may finish this early. Or, I may not. I�m so decisive these days.

Drink of choice: Cinnamon Dolce Latte--with whip (Seriously, why even serve it without the whip? Makes no sense.)

Music that made its way into the manuscript: You�ve Lost That Loving Feeling by The Righteous Brothers.

Darlings whose fate is uncertain:

• �Now I see the appeal of the sport,� Landon said. (He�s watching MacKenna bowl.)
  The ball left her fingers, rumbled down the lane.
  �It�s all in the view."
• "The ratio of swimsuit-clad girls to Landon is much lower in the drama club."
• To bikini or not to bikini--that was the question. On the plus side: it was cute. On the minus side: it was small, borderline tiny. On the plus side: it was only Landon. On the minus side: it was only Landon.
• "I guess you could say I was born with a broken heart.�
• The scar reminded MacKenna of the one her dad had on his shoulder, the one her fingertips worried during Mommy & Me swim class. �That�s where the dragon bit me, Princess,� he�d say, but he never told her what really happened.
• The boy who collected confessions had one of his own.
