Writing Wrongs

February 10, 2007

I’m thinking about going for it today, or rather, this weekend. I’m really close to the end of the book. I’m blogging tomorrow over at The Wet Noodle Posse (already drafted, amazingly), but otherwise, I think I might lie low and write like a mad woman.

Or not.

Because part of me doesn’t want to finish the book, which probably seems weird to some people. What will I do with all that free time? There’s a little voice that insists that once I stop writing ~ 1,000 words a day, I won’t be able to do it again.

It’s great being a writer. You can play mind games all by yourself. So, in conclusion, if you don’t see me around much, I’m either:

  1. Writing

  2. Screwing off

For some people, writing = screwing off, but I’m not going there today.
