Writing Wrongs

Jenn wrote the other day how the Easter Bunny, in the guise of her husband, promised their son something special and very specific for Easter. Those specific details will get you every time. But all is well. It looks to be a good Easter for them.

Yesterday, the Easter Bunny, in the guise of me, stopped off at Target. A week ago, I was there with the kids and spotted an end cap display of stuffed Easter Bunnies, one that looked a lot like the one Kyra adores from daycare. So yesterday, I went in search of, hoping I wasnt too late.

There it was on the end cap display, the very last floppy bunny. In pink. Of course. Andrew is having a very special Transformers Easter this year. (Transformers, more than meets the eye. Transformers, robots in disguise.)

I also splurged on new plush Easter baskets. Andrew really wanted the football one (because a nine-year-old boy cannot possibly have too much sports-related paraphernalia). I went in search of, and found it. In, uh, brown, of course. Its very un-Easter like.

Saturday, well dye eggs. Our kit this year came with funny face decals and hats. And really, you cant have too much of the funny face decals either. Or hats.

What Easter egg doesnt need a hat?
