Writing Wrongs

The three rules of writing:

There are three rules for writing the novel. Unfortunately, no one knows what they are.
~ W. Somerset Maugham

At last, in the most amazing discovery, we have found the three rules for writing. These are courtesy of Andrew. It was part of last nights homework assignment. As much as he complains about homework, he does get some interesting tasks. Last nights involved writer vocabulary: prose, poetry, publishing, etc. His assignment, write a paragraph using at least three vocab words:

How to write

  1. Dont let people snoop around you.

  2. Submit it to a publishing company.

  3. Be ready to be rejected.

Pretty much sums it up, doesnt it?

Oh, if youre wondering about that snoop part, that comes from this thing I have about people/kids/dogs standing behind me and staring over my shoulder when I write. For some reason, no one understands why this bothers me. Performance typing anyone?
