Writing Wrongs

May 28, 2006

Ive decided to reveal another one of my new parental discoveries. Not only is the Childrens Museum not crowded over the Fourth of July weekend, its pretty darn deserted during the Memorial Day one as well.

So we made a day of it. A BIG day. They had an art adventure temporary display that was a lot of fun, as you can see below.

Our Mona Lisa smiles. Im thinking of using mine if I ever need an author photo. So enigmatic.

It took years of research, but scholars finally confirmed that the Mona Lisa does have a blue tongue.

In actuality, one shouldnt put ones face into the campfire.

And while chicken is almost always on the menu, it isnt usually that fresh.

Kyra prepares for that all-important after school job in food service.

Andrew is already at home in corporate America.

Rustic, yet stylist.

The Queen of the Ants rides again.

Next stop, Candyland. Youll note that they left the Childrens Museum with more than when they entered. Didnt you notice sucker mom scrawled across my forehead in the Mona Lisa picture?

Speaking of suckers, Kyra ate most of hers on the way home. By the way, Candyland takes great pride in the fact that there is no nutritional value in any of their products.

This pretty much says it all. A good time was had by everyone. Even the chicken.
